I have been bringing my dog to training at K9i for many years and together we have done gun dog, agility and scent work. Lessons are always great fun, thoughtfully planned and varied. Alison skilfully differentiates activities making them easier or more challenging depending on the needs of each dog/owner. She is hugely knowledgeable and experienced and whatever the issue she has a strategy to help. Recently I took on a rescue sprockerpoo. She is a delightful little dog but came with many issues including guarding and poor social skills. Alison has been a huge help and support. For example in a 1-1 session she showed me how to redirect Oti’s energy and excitement so that instead of ‘mugging’ my visitors and manically jumping all over them, she calmly plays with her toy instead. Alison achieved in one session what I had been struggling with for months! Brilliant! I would highly recommend K9i for all your dog training needs. Helen

Review on new Training toys that will be available very soon! 1. Practicing with him at home was easy. He 'held', 'gave' repeatedly. Getting him to wait, then 'go get it' was a roaring success, until I gave him the choice of training toy or reward ball - guess which he went for!! 2. Have been taking the toy on our walks, it squidges into my bum bag nicely. Once again, can get him to wait, walk past and leave before I tell him to get it. 3. A couple of really good results - when he was running up to someone with a dog I called him and then whistled and bashed the toy against my leg and he came - WOOHOO!! Also, he headed towards a field and had just gone out of sight and into the field - I voice commanded followed by the whistle, then bashed the toy against my leg and called and he came back - RESULT!! 4. Not planned but he managed to escape from our garden! when the Tesco delivery driver was here. Waved the training toy then bashed it against his leg - Harry came back! Best result so far Blush 5. The toy is a good shape and very lightweight, so far I have just wipe-cleaned it.

Highly recommend Alison! She's a fantastic person who genuinely cares for dogs, she also has her own charity. She's been amazing with mine being a very unsociable dog but I can actually train him to work with other dogs in a group being able to afford the training as well as 1 on 1 if needed (a local training facility said my dog would interrupt group classes and wanted to charge me £60 an hour, my dog wouldn't of even had a chance to become familiar with another dog and for that price I wouldn't of been able to keep up with the training he needs!) . Monthly payments from £25! You can't find any where better & with her level of knowledge! Shes a fully qualified dog trainer not a dog walker that dabbles in training. Wilfy use to be very dominant of the sofa, would growl and snarl even try to snap at you if you asked him to move or touch him, now he listens and knows his place because of the fun training we've done together!
